The motherland of the special virtuoso guitar playing is connected inseparably with Flamenco music. Most famous guitarists and best guitar experts come from Andalusia. That is why Riga citizens and guests are invited to make a musical journey to one of the most mysterious and wonderful regions of Spain.
Your guides in the world of Flamenco will be: famous guitarist Valerio Chacon – graduated the Gnessin Russian Academy of Music (Moscow), a prizewinner of the World Guitar Fiesta in Berlin. The maitre believes that Flamenco is not just music, it is energy that lets walk the life path fairly and without fear to be oneself. Talanted virtuoso – trumpet player El Glorio – winner of many jazz festivals, has been working with Flamenco band for many years, and has a fine appreciation of all the colours of oriental music, masterly improvises in the way that each melody sounds different every single time. Guitarist El Marito – a graduate of Flamenco Academy in Seville taking guitar classes from Niño de Pura. Xenia Chacon has masterly learned to play the cajon – a percussion musical instrument originally from Peru.
